The Dual Degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) program’s accomplishments consist of combining theory and intensive practice in the field of administration and management, with an emphasis on planning, strategic management, sales, administration, and the comprehensive operation of a business. MBA with dual degrees is the only program that combines the British National Qualifications Framework and French Higher Education.

In addition to specialized knowledge, learners are equipped with problem-solving skills, team leadership skills, human resource management, and the ability to think independently, so that they are capable of self-study and self-development in the corporate environment, as well as conducting their own in-depth research during the dissertation process, business research, or doctoral studies.

Upon graduation, fellows will contemporaneously receive 2 Master degrees:

  • The Master Degree belongs to the UK National Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF): OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership
  • Master of Business Administration from The Université Libéral de Paris.

Accreditation and recognition distinctions:

The Master of Business Administration is a dual degree program offered by OTHM, a national UK-based training organization, and the Paris-U. Both organizations have received accreditation and programmatic and institutional recognition.

  • Paris-U is fully accredited at the Premier Institute level by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Universities, and Colleges). The Master of Business Administration program is accredited by OTHM, an Ofqual-accredited awarding organization.
  • Ofqual UK has accredited and recognized OTHM as the UK’s Level Awarding Organisation.

 

The differences in learning methodology:

The Dual Degree Master of Business Administration programme consists of 6 mandatory modules and a Master Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project for a combined total of 160 credits, lasting a minimum of 1.5 years.

After each module, learners will take an ending exam. The end-of-module exams are application-oriented essays to help learners review knowledge, apply knowledge in the workplace, and improve the practical environment.

Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project 

Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project will be associated with solutions in the workplace. It can be a business plan or a management improvement project written in 7,000 – 8,000 words

 

Graduating from the Dual Degree Master of Business Administration programme, the learner could:

Teaching and learning strategies:

The central training philosophy of the programme starts from understanding the theory and case studies that are currently applied in world enterprises to the process of applying the learned knowledge to the enterprises themselves and the learners’ business environment. In addition to the practical knowledge, the programme also equips the necessary skills for a business leader and manager in the volatile and risky global business context.

 

The programme is Learner-centered and focuses on solving learners’ problems:

The Learner-centered training method will focus on solving learners’ problems through background knowledge and case studies that are applied in successful businesses worldwide. Through each module, learners will step by step solve management problems that they face every day with the guidance of the theoretical system, the practice system, expert lecturers and local teaching assistants.

 Entry requirements

To enrol the Dual Degree Master of Business Administration, the learner must possess:

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or achieved a Level 6 Diploma according to the European Qualifications
  • For a degree from non-recognized universities; The learner should have followed the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy of Paris-U.
  • Learners must be over 21 years old.

Paris-U reserves the highest decision-making power for admission whether to accept or not accept after a specific review of each candidate’s profile to ensure that they can comprehend and gain benefits when participating.

For the fake university or the diploma mills, Paris-U shall not be accepted.

English requirements

If a learner is not from a predominantly English-speaking country, proof of English language proficiency must be provided.

  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 or equivalent
  • Or A minimum TOEFL score of 101 or IELTS 6.5; Reading and Writing must be at 6.5 or equivalent

Paris-U has been accredited the “premier institution” status by the ASIC, and the programme is also accredited by Ofqual’s UK.

The programmes are strictly accredited by prestigious organisations; then, the graduated learner confidence participates in the labour market or/and easy learning connected to prestigious and equivalent educational systems.

OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

 

OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is a qualification in the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework, recognised not only by the UK government but also globally.

  • Level 7 according to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and Europe Qualifications Framework (EQF)
  • Sufficient training duration for Master qualification: 120 Credits.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) of The Université Libéral de Paris

At the second stage, learners will choose the majors to develop a Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Projects. The major of the Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Projects will be the basis for determining the graduate major of the programme.

Majors will be shown on the Master of Business Administration Degree and Transcript.

After completing the Dual Degree Master of Business Administration programme, learners can continue to study to Level 8 (Doctor) or transfer to other education systems.
