The Dual Degree Master of Arts in Marketing is a program equipped with in-depth competencies ranging from the fundamentals of marketing to specialised competencies such as managing information channels, analyzing and understanding customer behavior, digital marketing, and branding, as well as access to modern marketing research studies that suggest ideas that students can immediately apply to their work.

 

In addition to practice competence at the marketing specialist level, the programme also offers research competence at the Master’s level. This is an important skill that enables graduates to develop marketing plans, deploy and analyze non-conformities, research and build models, and propose improvements to their actual working environment.

As a rare dual degree programme in France that combines the UK National Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and the French quality training system, upon graduation, fellows will contemporaneously receive 2 Master degrees:

  • The Master Degree belongs to the UK National Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF): OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Marketing
  • Master of Arts in Marketing from Paris-U.

The distinctions in accreditation and recognition:

The Master of Arts in Marketing is a dual degree programme, a collaboration between the national UK level training OTHM and Université Libérale de Paris (Paris-U). Both organisations have achieved accreditations and recognition for the institution and programmatic.

  • Paris-U is fully accredited by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, University and Colleges) at the highest Premier Institute level. The Master of Arts in Marketing programme is accredited by OTHM, a Level awarding organisation that is accredited by Ofqual.
  • OTHM is the UK’s Level Awarding Organisation, accredited and recognized by Ofqual UK.

The learners participating in the Dual Degree Master of Arts in Marketing programme receive 2 independent master degrees, which are based on the Master Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project. The  learners can choose one of the following majors:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Hospitality Marketing
  • Logistics Marketing
  • Insurance Marketing
  • Banking Marketing
  • Brand building and management
  • Communications
  • And other majors based on the Master thesis (need to be approved by Paris-U before admission)

The Dual Degree Master of Arts in Marketing programme consists of 6 mandatory modules and a Master Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project for a combined total of 160 credits, lasting a minimum of 1.5 years.

Mandatory Modules:

  • Contemporary Issues and Principles of Marketing (20 credits)
  • Consumer Behaviour and Market Communications (20 credits)
  • Digital and Social Media Marketing (20 credits)
  • Contemporary Challenges and Strategic Marketing for products and services (20 credits)
  • Strategic Brand Management (20 credits)
  • Marketing Research Project (20 credits)

After each module, learners will take an ending exam. The end-of-module exams are application-oriented essays to help learners review knowledge, apply knowledge in the workplace, and improve the practical environment.

Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project (60 credits)

  • Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project
  • Defend Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project

Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project 

Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Project will be associated with solutions in the workplace. It can be a marketing plan or a management improvement project written in 7,000 – 8,000 words.

Entry requirements

To enrol the Dual Degree Master of Arts in Marketing, the learner must possess:

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or achieved a Level 6 Diploma according to the European Qualifications
  • For a degree from non-recognized universities; The learner should have followed the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy of Paris-U.
  • Learners must be over 21 years old.

Paris-U reserves the highest decision-making power for admission whether to accept or not accept after a specific review of each candidate’s profile to ensure that they can comprehend and gain benefits when participating.

For the fake university or the diploma mills, Paris-U shall not be accepted.

English requirements:

If a learner is not from a predominantly English-speaking country, proof of English language proficiency must be provided.

  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 or equivalent
  • Or A minimum TOEFL score of 101 or IELTS 6.5; Reading and Writing must be at 6.5 or equivalent

Paris-U has been accredited the “premier institution” status by the ASIC, and the programme is also accredited by Ofqual’s UK.

The programmes are strictly accredited by prestigious organisations; then, the graduated learner confidence participates in the labour market or/and easy learning connected to prestigious and equivalent educational systems.

Upon completing the Dual Degree Master of Arts in Marketing programme, the learner will receive 2 Master degree:

  • Master Degree according to UK National Qualifications Framework: OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership
  • Master Degree from Paris-U: Master of Arts in Marketing (MA)

 

OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is a qualification in the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework, recognised not only by the UK government but also globally.

  • Level 7 according to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and Europe Qualifications Framework (EQF)
  • Sufficient training duration for Master qualification: 120 Credits.

Master of Arts in Marketing (MA) of The Université Libéral de Paris

At the second stage, learners will choose the majors to develop a Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Projects. The major of the Dissertation/ Capstone Projects/ Work-based Projects will be the basis for determining the graduate major of the programme.

Majors will be shown on the Master of Business Administration Degree and Transcript.
